Day 28...

Today I am thankful for:

The farmer who plowed the ground, and grew the wheat, that made the flour that I used to make cookies today's. Farmers are good things and people. How would we eat if it weren't for farmers? In all honesty here...

  1. Farmers are the backbone of our country. Without them we would be nothing. They are the ones who had the courage to press on westward and to settle land that was, to some, ungodly. Yes, let's be thankful for our farmers.

  2. Mike Rowe said it very well...brown before green...everything comes from the ground and without farming and mining we would have nothing.

  3. Most folks don't realize or understand what it takes to be a farmer, one of the hardest jobs around, right behind being a parent. Thanks for giving them credit.
